What You'll Own

• The PS Mobile App: You’ll be the only and most senior developer responsible for maintenance, debugging and incremental feature build on the PS Mobile App. Your only escalation point is the founder who has built the app.
• Agentic AI capabilities in the App: The PS app is very different to typical step per screen, API per screen app, it’s closer to an agentic harness with a server driven architecture. Maintaining it and building additional server-driven capabilities will be your task.
• End to End Release workflow: Release the App into the testing environment, collect and debug errors. Submit final app versions to App & Play store, it’s all your responsibility.

• High responsibility, high level of freedom, minimal guidance. Find a problem, design a solution, fix it. You own your work end to end, including when something goes wrong at 9pm.

• Everyone is expected to do 2-3 different tasks. With AI tooling enabling us to learn and do more than ever before come in with one core skillset and learn & apply 1-2 completely new skills with us.

Who It Isn't For

• You want remote or hybrid. This is on-site, five days, and we’re not flexible.
• You’d rather specialise narrowly than learn new things.

Requirements

• Strong Flutter and Dart, with real depth in async — futures, streams, concurrency, and the ability to debug something that hangs rather than working around it.
• Solid state management (bloc/cubit) and the judgement to model a complex flow as states and transitions rather than a tangle of conditions.
• You've built and released mobile apps end to end — app store submission, release cycles, crash monitoring and the fixes that follow.
• A working understanding of what the OS does underneath: app lifecycle, background execution, push notifications, permissions.
• Comfortable debugging across the network boundary. You can read the requests and responses between app and server and work out where things went wrong.
• Backend fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, and enough Python to read our API code and follow a bug into it.
• Nice to have: experience building against a complex or stateful backend — chat apps, offline-first sync, fintech, or anything where the server holds most of the truth.

Compensation

• 15 days paid vacation.
